Spiritual Care

At Justice Financial Group we recognize the need for meeting the spiritual needs of our clients during a time of turmoil.

Spiritual Care is a different discipline than counseling or psychotherapy. It is not unusual for people who are suffering to feel completely withdrawn from whatever measure of faith they may have once held on to. As difficult as these situations may be, it is an opportunity for spiritual caregivers to encourage an understanding of the emotional and personal stress that comes with these major life changes.

Because we live in a multi-cultural society, many different faith groups are represented in our communities. However, although JFG respects this diversity, our Spiritual Care emphasizes the Christian faith that is based on biblical principles. It is not intended to be condemnatory or judgmental in any way, nor is it meant to impose Christian beliefs on any individual. Rather, we believe that our responsibility in following biblical principles is to treat others with the kind of care and compassion that we would want to be treated with if we were in the same situation. Spiritual Care is an opportunity for us to practice what we believe about how to treat others, and is not meant to impose our beliefs on anyone.

Our Spiritual Care providers (our Chaplains) are called upon in the times of crisis to provide support, comfort and assistance to individuals and families who are hurting. Spiritual Care is an opportunity to restore dignity to a suffering person through interaction, and to remind those who are discouraged as to who they are and of their great value and irreplaceable uniqueness.

Chaplaincy Service

In addition to the financial hardship that typically occurs after the denial of an insurance claim, a person who has become disabled may also have to cope with or adapt to physical limitations or lifestyle changes that can be overwhelming, both for them and the entire family.

The death of a family member, especially the main income earner, followed by a denied claim can be equally devastating, making the grieving process even more unbearable. To help clients and their family members during these difficult times, we have established a Chaplaincy Service. Our Chaplains can relate to the adverse affects that insurance claim disputes and litigation have on people, and for those who request this service, our Chaplains will provide:

  • Compassion, encouragement and comfort to help alleviate suffering.
  • Spiritual guidance and support based on biblical principles and the Christian faith.
